Responsibilities and Duties:

•             This is a full time year round position that provides a strong customer focus.

•             Must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. 

•             Must be available Monday through Friday 7-5pm and for on call rotation nights and weekends.

•             Valid driver’s license and clean driving record a must.

•             1-3 years’ experience preferred.

•             Maintain, repair, service, troubleshoot and install heating (furnace/boilers) and cooling systems.

•             Gas/Plumbing/Oil licenses a plus.

 

We are looking for a motivated and experienced HVAC Installation Technician. Must have excellent customer service skills and maintain all required paperwork associated with service installations and service maintenance calls. Must maintain stock and tools in service vehicle.

Due to the extreme cold temperatures we are receiving a higher than usual number of emergency calls. While this cold continues we will be scheduling NO HEAT calls only giving our contract and regular customers priority. The health and safety of our customers is our main concern during this severe cold weather. All regular service calls will be scheduled after the New year. We apologize for any inconvenience

This sudden change in weather has left many people with Furnace and Boiler issues leaving many without heat. We are doing are best to service all emergency calls as quickly as possible. If you are in need of routine service or maintenance please note we are booking into the first week of December. Your patience is appreciated as we head into the winter months.

Simmons Plumbing & HVAC, contractor servicing northern MA & Southern NH, currently has openings for experienced licensed plumbers, MA Journeyman, NH Journeyman and NH gas fitters. Minimum two year licensed apprentice. You must have a valid driver’s license. Must have your own hand tools. Must be able to follow instruction and work independently with good problem solving skills. Must be available for on-call rotation.
